Born and raised in Leesburg, Virginia, Marti Whiting-Pearson eventually settled down and started a family in the lovely little town. As a mother of three and grandmother of five, Marti rediscovered her passion for writing while watching her children grow up. Seeing their fun, goofy antics inspired her to write stories kids would love. Today, she resides in Ashburn, Virginia, where she works as a children's author.
